Chris Evert Admits That Her Relationship With Greg Norman Began as an Affair
http://golf.fanhouse.com/2008/07/21/chris-evert-admits-that-...about someone all you want, but until they confirm it, it's impossible to ever know if it really true. We can now, thanks to an upcoming interview in Vogue, all accept the reality that the elderly-superstar-athlete relationship between Chris Evert and Greg Norman did begin as an extramarital affair. The tennis legend revealed that she and Norman had tried to fight their desire for each other and had undergone couples-counselling with their longtime spouses, Andy Mill and Laura Andrassy, in an effort to overcome

What's on Tonight? :: Main Page
http://whatsontonight.blogware.com/blogfavorite Huston Street and former (emphasis on former) great closer Eric Gagne. To say Gagne looked awful is an understatement. Jack Cust, a one-dimensional slugger on the A’s hit two homers. Interesting in light of the fact he was mentioned in the steroids report.

NFL Fanhouse
http://nfl.fanhouse.commore than the one-year contract extension the Bears have offered on top of the nine-year, $57 million deal he signed in 2003. The extension through 2012 includes $5 million up front. This could be a lingering issue, or it could mean nothing. Last year, Lance Briggs did all sorts of arm-waving before finally signing his franchise tender, playing the season, and re-signing for much less than he originally thought he was worth. For all the bluster about holding out, players usually opt for a paycheck over making a

The Fang's Bites Mid-Year Awards
http://fangsbites.blogspot.com/2008/07/fangs-bites-mid-year-...it's the stars. Maybe it's a major coincidence, but ESPN is having a very strange year. First in January, First Take co-host Dana Jacobsen got drunk at the Mike & Mike celebrity roast, made an ass of herself and promptly got suspended. In June, Jamele Hill got suspended for making inappropriate Hitler and Cold War references in an anti-Celtics column. Then in the most bizarre incident to top them all, Bonnie Bernstein had to apologize for saying Palestinian boys want to grow up to be suicide bombers. These incidents

Buy or Sell: San Diego Padres
http://mlb.fanhouse.com/2008/07/18/buy-or-sell-san-diego-pad...The state of the division -- 10.5 back in the NLW = epicFAIL -- is exactly why the Pads should have been peddling sooner, or at the very least trying to drive up the value of some of their pitchers, specifically Randy Wolf and Greg Maddux. Maddux has a no-trade clause, but you have to think he'd be willing to get moved to a contender that's close to his native San Diego, and Los Angeles has plenty of prospects they want to deal.
