http://www.thesimpledollar.com/ 2008/ 07/ 23/ personal-finance-101-credit-reports-cr...
Over the last few days, I’ve received a ton of questions about so-called “hard pulls” and “soft pulls” on your credit report and how they affect your credit score. In order to get the full scoop, I did some extensive research on the subject, and here’s the best information I can find. Let’s start off with the basics. What’s a credit report? A credit report is a record of an individual’s history of borrowing and repaying. This includes information about lines of credit, late payments, bankruptcies, credit defaults, and so on.
