There's been no confirmation of Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo's split and just denials from Jessica's rep, but the rumors seem to have enough weight to be true. We're still waiting to see if Tony is Jessica's date to her sister's wedding this weekend. If anyone other than the magazine who big the highest will be able to score photos of the guests we'll probably know soon, otherwise they'll try to hide the breakup for as long as possible. The Dallas News reports that "two people close to Tony and Jess" attest that they're over, while Tony himself said "I'm not talking about Jessica" when asked on Wednesday.

Jessica’s younger sister Ashlee is expecting a baby with her new husband around Halloween, and Jessica is anxious to join the motherhood club. According to the National Enquirer, the blond country singer took a home pregnancy test and thought it was positive, so she made an announcement to Tony’s family that they were expecting. The only problem is that she wasn’t really pregnant and Tony’s family was floored at the prospect: Jessica Simpson wants Tony Romo’s baby! With her little sister Ashlee married and expecting, Jess has decided she wants to start her own family with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. But Romo’s family is none too pleased, say sources. “There was a huge fight on July 18 at the Romo home,” a source close to the family told The Enquirer. “Jessica and Tony thought she was pregnant and happily announced it to the family. “The news resulted in dead silence. Then Tony’s dad Ramiro said, ‘You’re not married. this is crazy!’ Tony’s mom Joan joined in, demanding, ‘How can you do this to us?’” Jessica, 28, said her home pregnancy test showed a positive result and that she was heading for a doctor to find out for her. A spokesperson for Jessica says she is not pregnant, but pals say it’s not for lack of trying. “Her friends know she’s feverishly trying to conceive,” confided an insider. If anyone could get confused between one or two lines on a stick, it’s Jessica Simpson. I had a false positive pregnancy test in college once, and it happens. The tests were more complicated back then and involved eyedroppers and little cups. Do you think Romo is ready to be a dad? This article makes it sound like he’s happily on board but that his family is dead set against it. These two broke up temporarily right before Ashlee’s wedding amid rumors that Jessica was too open about their relationship in an interview and that Romo was sick of her dad’s controlling ways. It’s not going to get any easier for him if he marries into that family and/or has a baby with Jessica. He seems like a pretty easy going guy, but one who is willing to put his foot down as needed. Jessica first met Tony’s family on June 27 at a dinner at the Olive Garden. She’s said to have impressed them at the time, but if she went and announced a non-pregnancy just three weeks later she’s got to be on their shit list now. New Orelans Saints offensive lineman Matt Lehr was specifically named as one who purchased and distributed said injectable products along with 'another player' ( insert whoever you want just for shits and giggles!). Lher, his attorney, and his affiliates have already issued statments denying any purchase, injecting, or distribution of HGH or whatever Jacobs was selling. Now Greg Aiello of the NFL announced future meetings with Jacobs are in the works! The Story actually made the NYTimes- impressive for the NFL! I'm sure Rodger Goodell is thrilled. The only thing that would make this better would be the emerging of an illegal video tape released of Bill Belichick buying and injecting Junior Seau! There are more and very believable insider reports from The Chicago Sun Times, which says “they’re definitely over,” and gives a bunch of reasons why Tony split. Jessica’s effusive “my future husband” Glamour interview was a definite reason Tony left, along with the way that her father, Joe, tried to interfere with Tony’s career: Yet, the Romo pal — part of the posse that hung with the pro-baller during his hard partying in Chicago last weekend (including his off-key singing at Wrigley Field during the seventh inning stretch) — quotes Romo as saying he and Simpson ”are definitely over.” The Cowboy apparently explained he had ”really had it” with being a constant target of the paparazzi and the celebrity press in general, and feels this particular romantic relationship was distracting him from his football career. In addition, Romo’s friend said the talented QB has been put off by the intrusive style of Joe Simpson, who’s been ”not only telling Jessica every move to make, but now has begun to offer unsolicited advice to Tony on his career, endorsement opportunities and things that have nothing to do with him dating Jessica.” Furthermore, Romo reportedly was very upset by Simpson’s interview in Glamour magazine where she referred to Romo as her ”future husband” and other on-the-record interviews she has given, saying she wants Romo to be the father to her children. Magazine, with spin that’s probably straight from Jessica’s down in the dumps camp, says that she gave Tony an “ultimatum” that if he doesn’t show at her sister’s wedding this week it’s over. I guess that means they’re really through and this is Jessica’s meek attempt to save face. You know, Romo probably might have overlooked Jessica’s meddling dad and if only she wouldn’t have blabbed so much to the press about him. That’s the lamest move you can make as a woman. In most cases it’s just telling your friends too much so that it ultimately gets back to the guy secondhand. In this instance Romo can read exactly what Jessica said and it’s way too revealing and gushy. Jezebel notes that Jessica was drinking Chardonnay when she gave that interview. Not the wisest move, and considering all the stories that are coming out about her drinking too much, she should probably watch herself and not seek solace in a bottle.
