Barack Obama's big field day
by Mark Silva DENVER -- Here in the press box at Invesco Field, it's many hours from game time, but a small army of security forces and media people are flowing onto the sunsplashed field -- covered with flooring and seating -- and into the stands for Barack Obama's big night.

Amuse Bouche: Sarah Palin’s Kids Have Weird Names
http://www.popandpolitics.com/ 2008/ 08/ 29/ sarah-palin-and-celebrity-names-for…The McCain people have painted Obama as a celebrity yeah, yeah. And celebrities have a knack for weird names. So does Sarah Palin, the GOP Vice Presidential nominee. She is a mother of five and their names: Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig. Yeah that’s as weird as any celebrity baby name.

palin comparison
http://bamapachyderm.com/ archives/ 2008/ 08/ 29/ palin-comparison/The bubble-headed disciples of teh Obamessiah™ must be somewhat reeling right now - as they worked themselves into an orgasmic frenzy over the libporn ’sermon on mile high’ (which I cannot even recall, so popcorn-like is Obama’s oratory), we were busy sucker-punching them with Sarah Palin.

SPEECH OF A LIFETIME-- Oh - and that Sarah person
http://dontgelyet.typepad.com/ dontgeltoosoon/ 2008/ 08/ at-last-our-who.htmlAt last. Our whole day had been built around this. Palin’s interesting but…
http://themoderatevoice.com/ politics/ republican-party/ 22231/ palins-interesti…Palin’s interesting but… August 29th, 2008 by T-STEEL The pick of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin by John McCain to be his running mate neither wowed nor depressed me. From what I’ve read about Gov. Palin and some of the videos I’ve seen she’s intelligent, speaks convincingly, and is a pure conservative.

Everytime I read a criticism of Sarah Palin’s level of experience…
http://www.fromwhereisit.org/ ?p=3126…I think to myself: She’s rubber, Obama’s glue, everything you say bounces off her and sticks to You-Know-Who. Seriously. A first term U.S. Senator is supposedly more qualified to be the country’s chief executive than a first term Governor is to be SECOND in command? Please.

The Slimy Obama Campaign
http://bloodthirstyliberal.com/ ?p=6996Let’s look at the ooze line by line. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s campaign on Friday blasted his Republican rival’s choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as a running-mate, highlighting her “zero” foreign policy experience. [And that compares quite favorably with Barry’s 0 foreign policy experience.

I have just one question
http://www.mydd.com/ story/ 2008/ 8/ 29/ 154859/ 694If today is John McCain's birthday, why did he give us a present? I strongly disagree with the idea that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is a game-changer for the Republicans. Hillary Clinton gave a strong endorsement of Barack Obama on Tuesday and will be out campaigning for him this fall.

Advancing the Christian Tradition - Dr. John H. Armstrong on SBE
http://stevebrownetc.com/ podcasts/ steve-brown-etc/ advancing-the-christian-tra…There are fewer and fewer people in this generation that publicly profess Christian faith and commitment. What's more, the role of the Church in politics and culture is changing, but not in the way you might think! Dr. John H.

Wouldn't It Be Nice?
http://sweatpantsmom.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ wouldnt-it-be-nice.htmlI don't know about you, but I was incredibly moved by Barack Obama's acceptance speech last night at the DNC. We made the girls watch this historic event and they actually made it through half of it before Kiyomi was lured away by a rerun of iCarly and Kira had to get back to the computer to return the three-hundred IMs that had accumulated in those few minutes.
