    Jason Cole of YAHOO! Sports is reporting the Packers and Brett Favre are coming close to an agreement on a list of teams Green Bay could trade the quarterback to. According to Cole, the Packers are hoping an injury will force the hand of another team into making a deal.

    A 10 minute bench clearing brawl occurred between the minor league affiliate teams of the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs on Thursday night. 17 players including the managers were ejected afterwards. A fan at the game was taken to the hospital after being hit by a ball thrown by “Peoria (Cubs) pitcher Julio Castillo, who was throwing at the Dayton (Reds) dugout” during the first inning melee.
