According to Cole, the Packers are hoping an injury will force the hand of another team into making a deal.

A fan at the game was taken to the hospital after being hit by a ball thrown by “Peoria (Cubs) pitcher Julio Castillo, who was throwing at the Dayton (Reds) dugout” during the first inning melee.
